Hydra THV

The Hydra THV is a self-expanding bioprosthetic aortic valve built on a nitinol stent frame with three bovine pericardial leaflets in a supra-annular position, designed to deliver large EOA and low gradients.

A high sealing skirt at the inflow minimizes PVL, while the non-flared inflow reduces interaction with the conduction system. The outflow section features three tentacles for catheter anchoring, alignment, and conformability to aortic anatomy.

Large 15F-equivalent open cells in the mid-frame ensure easy coronary access and support catheter flexibility. Dual marker sets enable precise positioning at the intended landing zone.

The frame provides variable radial force—high at inflow for anchoring, low at outflow for flexibility, and strong mid-frame hoop strength for performance across diverse anatomies.

Hydra comes in 22, 26, and 30 mm sizes, covering 18–27 mm annulus diameters, with anticalcification-treated leaflets. The valve is recapturable, retrievable, and repositionable up to 80% deployment.
